GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Drake men's golf team moved up a spot in the standings to sixth place (576, E) out of 18 teams following day two of the Loyola (Md.) Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz., on Monday (Feb. 21).
 
Tim Lim and Nick Pittman are both tied for 19th place with a 143 (-1) after two rounds. Lim fired a 71 (-1) on day two while Pittman shot a 73 (+1).

Freshman Nikko Ganas responded after a 73 (+1) on day one with a 71 (-1) on Monday to be even at 144 entering the final day of competition. Shayne Patel (146, +2) and Lucas Scherf (150, +6) each registered a 76 during the second round.

The final day of the Loyola (Md.) Intercollegiate will get underway with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. MST on Tuesday (Feb. 22).
