NASHVILLE, Tennesse -- The Drake University men's tennis team fell to Vanderbi;t, 4-3, Sunday afternoon. 

The Bulldogs found early success in the doubles portion of the day. 

Matija Matic and Evan Fragistas defeated George Harwell and Max Freeman 6-3.

Bulldog duo Matt Clegg and Reid Jarvis also defeated their opponent, winning 7-5. 

Fragistas was one of two Drake players to also win their singles match. He defeated Freeman 6-2, 6-1 after falling in set one 6-4. 

Matic also defeated his singles opponent, Klopper Joubert, 7-5 in set one. Joubert won set two 6-4, but Matic came out on top in set three 6-1. 

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday March 19 at Samford.
