PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Drake men's golf team concluded the first round of the GCU Invitational as the second round was called due to darkness before it was completed at the GCU Golf Course on Monday (March 14). The Bulldogs shot a team score of 297 in the opening round.
 
Tim Lim fired a 70 (-2) in round one to set the pace for Drake. Nick Pittman entered the second round with a 75 (+3). Jack Dumas also had a 75 (+3) after the opening round.
 
Lucas Scherf turned in a 77 (+5) for the first round followed by Nikko Ganas (80).

The remaining holes of the second round will be played starting at 7:15 a.m. MST on Tuesday (March 15) with the final round beginning immediately after.
