SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Drake University men's golf team held steady for seventh place out of 16 teams with a score of 586 (+18) in the 36-hole Twin Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Missouri State March 21-22 at Twin Oaks Country Club.
Play was suspended due to rain and thunderstorms halfway into the second round on Monday. The tournament was reduced to 36 holes with the remaining holes finished on Tuesday.
Tim Lim tied for eighth after delivering a team-low round of 67 in round two for a team-best total of 140.
Zac Jenkin's first round 70 was followed with a 76 for 146 during the event.
Nikko Ganas (149) improved his opening round score by three strokes with a 73 in the second round.
Nick Pittman and
Lucas Scherf both wrapped up with a combined 152 to round out the Drake lineup.
Silvester Tan competed as an individual and was consistent with a 152 (76, 76).
The next tournament for Bulldog men's golf is also in the state of Missouri at the MU Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou April 11-12.
