NORMAL, Illinois -- Drake stays unbeaten in conference play with a 6-1 win over Illinois State and improve to 2-0 in Summit League play.

Drake continued its strong doubles play with wins on court two (Evan Fragistas, Matija Matic) and court three (Matt Clegg, Reid Jarvis) to secure the doubles point and take the 1-0 dual match lead heading into singles play. The Bulldogs are now 12-5 in doubles points this season. 

Fragistas picked up his second consecutive win on court two and his seventh straight win overall to increase Drake's lead to 2-0.

Jarvis extended the lead to 3-0 with his straight set win on court four

Illinois State picked up their only win and point of the day on court one to briefly cut the lead to 3-1. However, Drake quickly responded with a win on court six by Markus Bolin and give the Bulldogs their fourth point to clinch the match.

Drake finished out the match by winning the remaining matches on courts three (Oliver Johansson) and court five (Clegg).

The Bulldogs will travel to Nebraska to take on Omaha on Saturday, April 2^nd at 5pm.
