DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University men's tennis team swept Creighton, 7-0, Saturday afternoon in Roger Knapp Tennis Center. 

Drake took courts one and three to earn the doubles point and take an early 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.

Markus Bolin increased the lead to 2-0 with his straight set win on court five.

Matt Clegg returned to the singles line-up and continued his strong play with a straight sets win on court four, that gave the Bulldogs a 3-0 advantage.

The fourth point and clinching dual match point was provided by Jeremy Schifris with his win on court one.

The last three remaining matches were all extended to three sets and each taken by the Bulldogs, to close out the 7-0 win. 

The Bulldogs head to Grand Forks to take on North Dakota on Saturday April 16.
