KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced the Drake University women's soccer team as one of the College Team Academic Award winners on Thursday, July 28 for its exemplary performance in the classroom. Drake women's soccer earned a team grade point average of 3.58 during the 2021-22 academic year.

A total of 498 women's soccer programs posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year.
