Nagel, Crabtree Earn All-Midwest Region Status

Emma Nagel and Amelia Crabtree both close out their collegiate careers as two of the best college soccer players in their region.

KANSAS CITY – Emma Nagel and Amelia Crabtree of Drake women's soccer were both recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as All-Midwest Region talents.
 
Nagel, a senior forward, worked her way onto the All-Midwest Region First Team after becoming the fourth Bulldog in program history to earn Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year honors. The Green Bay, Wis., native is the team's leading scorer (23 points, nine goals) while also providing five assists this season. Nagel was clutch all season with a perfect 5-for-5 penalty kick attempt track record.
 
Crabtree, a senior midfielder, joined Nagel on the All-MVC First Team and is a member of the All-Midwest Region Second Team. Crabtree has been an essential piece to Drake's defense that forced eight shutouts this season. The senior midfielder from Burlington, Wis., scored her first career goal this season against Southern Illinois.
 
The Drake women's soccer team put together a historic 13-4-3 overall record to win the 2023 MVC regular season title.
