The Basics
Drake men's golf will return to Arizona at the GCU Golf Course (par 71) in Phoeniz, for the GCU Invitational March 13-14. The event format is 54 holes total with 36 holes played on Monday followed by the final 18-hole round on Tuesday.

Scherf's Career Outing
Drake golfer Lucas Scherf was named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, the league announced Friday, March 3.

Scherf (72-63-69-204, -12) followed up his career-low round of 63 in the second round with a 69 in the final round to become the individual champion at the Loyola (Md.) Intercollegiate Feb. 26-28. The tournament win is Scherf's second of his career as the Grinnell, Iowa native navigated Palm Valley Golf Club (par 72) to win by three strokes.
