Indianapolis, Ind. – Drake rowing traveled to the windy conditions of the Eagle Creek Reservoir for the MACRA Championships on Sunday, April 30.
"The team performed very well today with less than favorable conditions," head coach
Charlie DiSilvestro said. "We had to compress the day due to storms predicted in the afternoon. They handled the change well. Our second varsity 8 earned a great silver medal and the novice 4 competed very well in their first competition of the season. Our varsity 4 and varsity 8 both raced very hard and we're excited for our next competition at the MAAC Championships."
