MANHATTAN, Kan. – On a warm day, Drake men's golf concluded play at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Kansas State at Colbert Hills Golf Course (Par 72 | 7,525 yards) on Monday (Sept. 18) with a solid showing. The Bulldogs finished eighth as a team (299-291-292--882). Host Kansas State (284-273-290---547) held on to win its own event.
Toby Webb (76-69-73--218) led the way for Drake tied for 22nd place while
Nikko Ganas (72-75-72--219) was only one stroke behind him.
Jack Dumas (75-74-74--223) remained steady throughout all three rounds.
Silvester Tan (77-79-73--229) showed the biggest improvement on day two with a final round of 73.
Emil Riegger (76-73-81--230) rounded out the five competing for Drake.
Next on the schedule for the Bulldogs is their own Zach Johnson Invitational Sept. 25-26 at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines.
