The Basics
The Drake men's tennis team will compete in the invite-only 2023 ITA All-American Championships, spanning from Sept. 30 through Oct. 8. The matches will be played in Tulsa, Okla. at the University of Tulsa. The pre-qualifying round takes place between Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1 and the qualifying round occurs between Monday, Oct. 2 and Tuesday, Oct. 3.
 
Bulldog Competitors
Drake is sending Oliver Johansson, Matija Matic, Matt Clegg, Olle Sonesson Lidholt, Markus Bolin and Reid Jarvis to compete in pre-qualifying singles. Jeremy Schifris is the lone Bulldog competing in the qualifying singles. The duos of Johansson/Matic and Schifris/Jarvis will compete in the qualifying doubles.
 
Drake Invite Recap
Drake hosted their annual Drake Invite from Sept. 15-17 at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. The Bulldogs impressed in their opening tournament of the season, totaling 28 victories on the weekend. The Drake Invite was Coach Ben Lott's first tournament as head coach for the Drake men's tennis team. Schifris, Matic, Johansson, Bolin, Jarvis and Sonesson Lindholt were all undefeated in their Drake Invite matches.
