Angela Gutierrez at the top of the six-yard box. Less than 50 seconds after the Bluejays regained a 2-1 lead, Gutierrez drew a foul on the right side of the 18-yard box by Creighton's Hitomi Yamaue. Senior leader
Emma Nagel lined up for the penalty kick and forced it over the mits of Bluejay keeper Keelan Terrell as the match was even again, 2-2.
-Gutierrez was named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time this season on Sept. 6 after helping produce both of Drake's goal in the 2-2 draw versus Creighton. Gutierrez also earned MVC Freshman of the Week on Aug. 21 after providing an assist and goal in her debut week with the Bulldogs.

Emma Nagel has scored 11 career goals. Both of her goals this season has been converted penalty kicks.
-The Bulldogs will play a total of five Summit League opponents on their non-conference slate this season having already played South Dakota State and North Dakota State with St. Thomas, Omaha and South Dakota remaining on the schedule.

Scouting St. Thomas
The Tommies are currently 2-2-1 start to the season coming off a 5-0 loss to Minnesota on Sunday (Sept. 3). St. Thomas lost to fellow Missouri Valley Conference member UNI in its season opener, 1-0 on Aug. 17.
Junior forward Abby Brantner has scored a pair of goals this season while another junior forward Lexi Huber has dished out two assists and scored a goal of her own. Olivia Rowe has collected 28 saves so far this season with a .824 save percentage.
Sheila McGill has been the head coach of the UST program for 17 seasons with a 175-90-34 overall record.
Series History vs. St. Thomas
Since St. Thomas transitioned to Division-I, the Bulldogs are 1-1-0 against the Tommies. Drake defeated St. Thomas 1-0 in OT on Sept. 5, 2021, in Des Moines and lost last season (Aug. 25, 2022) in St. Paul, 2-0.
Scouting Omaha
The Mavericks will carry a 2-2-2 overall mark into Sunday's match after a 3-2 loss at UNI on Sept. 3.
Sophia Green has scored a goal in four consecutive games and leads the team with five total goals. Alyssa Kellar paces Omaha in assists with three, including one in the 3-2 defeat at UNI. Emma Konsmo has snagged 29 saves with an .806 save percentage.
Tim Walters enters his seventh season in charge of the Omaha women's soccer program and he owns a 46-56-19 head coaching mark.
Series History vs. Omaha
Omaha leads the head-to-head series, 3-4-0. The Mavericks and Bulldogs have not played in the regular season since Sept. 24, 2019 in Des Moines, when Omaha won in overtime, 1-0.
