Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Summit League announced on April 19 that Matija Matic won the Summit League Men's Tennis Scholar of the Championship presented by JLG Architects.
 
Matic accumulated a 7-8 record in singles play and a 9-8 doubles record in 2024. He went 3-2 in both singles and doubles play in the Summit League.
 
Matic's award was announced before the opening of Drake's Summit League semifinal match against Illinois State in the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. If the Bulldogs defeat Illinois State, they will compete for the Summit League championship on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.
