DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University men's soccer 2024 schedule has been finalized, the team announced this afternoon. The Bulldogs are set to take on premier power conference opponents before another challenging run through the Missouri Valley. The entire schedule can be found at the link to the right.
 
In August, Drake will compete in three exhibition contests including two at home versus Northeast Community College and William Penn, and another on the road at Wisconsin.
 
The Bulldogs' regular season is set to get underway on Thursday, Aug. 22 as the nightcap of an unprecedented Drake men's and women's soccer doubleheader. Drake will host Grand View to get their official 2024 home slate started. August will conclude with two straight road matches at Creighton (Aug. 25) and Northwestern (Aug. 30).
 
September will start with another road game, this time in Chicago at DePaul on Sep. 2. Drake will return home for back-to-back home matches against Houston Christian and Kansas City before visiting Evansville on Sep. 14 to kick off Valley play. Drake will then take a brief MVC hiatus for a trip to Omaha and a date with the Mavericks ahead of hosting Belmont on Sep. 22.
 
Milwaukee will come to Des Moines on Oct. 1 for the Bulldogs' final non-conference tilt of the regular schedule before defending league champion Western Michigan visits Mediacom Stadium. October will continue with two more road matches at Bowling Green and Bradley prior to a visit from UIC to close the month.
 
Drake will split its final two matches of the regular season with its last road game at Northern Illinois on Nov. 1 and a home battle with rival Missouri State on Nov. 6.
 
The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament is set to be played from Nov. 10-16.
