MVC Reveals 2024-25 Women's Basketball Schedule

Bulldogs learn slate of games coming on march to MVC three-peat

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Conference has finalized the league schedule for the 2024-25 women's basketball season. The two-time defending champion Drake women's team will look to return to the pinnacle of the MVC with another challenging slate of conference matchups.

The Bulldogs will start their league schedule during holiday season with a road trip to Evansville (Dec. 28). Their march through The Valley will continue as the calendar turns to 2025 with home tilts against UIC (Jan. 2) and Valparaiso (Jan. 4). Drake will then get back on the road for a pair of rivalry matches at Bradley (Jan. 10) and Illinois State (Jan. 12). January will wrap up with two more home games vs. Belmont (Jan. 16) and Murray State (Jan. 18) before a trip to Missouri State for a rematch of last season's thrilling MVC Tournament title game (Jan. 24) and a visit to Southern Illinois (Jan. 26).

February tips off with another rivalry bout, this time in-state as UNI comes to Des Moines (Feb. 1). Illinois State (Feb. 7) and Bradley (Feb. 9) then visit the Knapp Center to close out a three-game homestand. The Bulldogs will celebrate Valentine's Day away from home with treks to Murray State (Feb. 13) and Belmont (Feb. 15). The month will finish with three more successive home games against SIU (Feb. 20), Missouri State (Feb. 22), and Indiana State (Feb. 27).

The madness of March will commence with another battle with UNI (Mar. 1), this time in Cedar Falls. The Bulldogs will then embark on a trip to Valpo (Mar. 6) before bookending the 2024-25 regular season slate against UIC in Chicago (Mar. 8).

The 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will be held in a new location – the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. Drake and the other 11 squads will be in Evansville from Mar. 13-16 with an automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Tournament up for grabs.
