DES MOINES, Iowa — Just a few days before the Spring season opener, Drake men's tennis has added Adan Tarquino to the roster, head coach
Justin Stuckey announced.
"Adan has an all-court game that will help him transition well in college," said Stuckey. "He has great doubles instincts and understands doubles at a high level already. I am happy he is a Bulldog and look forward to seeing what he can do this coming semester."
Tarquino, originally from Las Vegas and a graduate of Odyssey Charter High School, is coming out of Nevada as a 3-star recruit and ranked No. 6 in the state. He was also the Nevada 3A state singles champion, a team captain at Level 2 Intersectional Competition in 2024 and previously ranked second in the Intermountain sectional rankings.
"I chose Drake because of its academics and athletic facilities specialized towards tennis players," said Tarquino.
