Wichita. Kan. — The Bulldogs dropped a road match against Wichita State 0-7 on Sunday morning. Drake's season record fell to 2-2 after the loss.

To kick off the day's action, Vanja Hodzic and Ilias Worthington defeated Aaron Dawson and Christian Winstead 6-2. Jose Alessandro Hernandez and Adan Tarquino evened the doubles point, taking down Zaid Al Mashni and Luca Mindrut 6-3 in the third doubles position. But Alejandro Jacome and Kristof Minarik earned the doubles point for the Shockers by defeating Will Ecklund and Ben Johnson 6-3 in the top match. Wichita State then defeated five of the six Bulldogs in straight sets. Dawson, after losing his first set against Worthington 1-6, won the second set 6-4. His match went into a tiebreaker and Dawson lost 4-10.
