The Basics
The Drake men's golf team stays in town as the Bulldogs are the host institution for the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championship. Drake will compete against the other nine team in the MVC from Des Moines Golf and Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. The tournament will run from April 20-22 with teams playing one round each day.

About the Course
Des Moines Golf features a Pete Dye designed course that opened back in 1968. Consistently ranked as one of the best courses in Iowa, Des Moines Golf played host to the US Senior Open in 1999 and the Solheim Cup in 2017. Described as a mature layout with tree lined fairways and a handful of water hazards, the course doesn't overly penalize players for hitting balls off line, but isn't quick to yield a birdie unless good shots are executed. Playing as a par 72, the course measures in at 7,267 yards at its longest.
