DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake men's tennis player Alan Gonzalez has been named an All-Summit League Honorable Mention selection following a consistent and productive season in the Bulldogs' lineup.

Gonzalez finished the dual season with nine singles victories, leading the upper half of Drake's lineup in total wins. Regularly facing opponents' top players, Gonzalez provided a steady presence and delivered key performances throughout the season.

One of Gonzalez's strengths was his ability to compete in close matches. He recorded multiple wins in tightly contested situations and showed resilience in extended three-set battles, highlighting his competitiveness against strong opponents.

In addition to his singles success, Gonzalez was also a frequent contributor in doubles play, appearing in a majority of Drake's matches alongside Ben Johnson at the top of the lineup.

Gonzalez's honorable mention selection recognizes his consistency, leadership and ability to compete at a high level against some of the Summit League's best players.
