Drake University men's soccer has set its slate of matches for the 2026 season, the team announced today. The Bulldogs will begin the year with a trio of exhibition games before running through a 16-game regular season schedule with seven Missouri Valley Conference bouts included.
Starting this season, entrance into Drake soccer home matches will now require tickets. Season tickets for the upcoming Drake men's soccer season are now on sale for $50, which includes admission to all regular-season home contests. Supporters looking to follow both Bulldog soccer programs can also purchase a combined men's and women's soccer season ticket package for $80. Exhibition matches will not require a ticket to enter the stadium.
August 8 marks the first of three exhibition games for the Drake men with a trip to Madison, Wisconsin and a date with the Badgers. The Bulldogs will return home for two more exhibitions against Northeast Community College and Iowa Western Community College on Aug. 11 and Aug. 15, respectively.
Drake' regular season is set to start on Aug. 20 when Central Arkansas visits Des Moines. The Bulldogs and Bears will conclude a Drake soccer doubleheader with a to-be-announced women's match earlier in the evening.
The Bulldogs' first road match of the year comes on Aug. 23 with a trip to Omaha and a battle with Creighton.
The first month of the season will end with the first two installments of a 4-game homestand when Green Bay enters Mediacom Stadium on Aug. 26 and NCAA Division III squad Wartburg College comes to town on Aug. 29.
September begins with the final two games of the homestand against Milwaukee on Sep. 2 and Kansas City on Sep. 7. The Bulldogs, who won a share of last year's MVC regular season crown and finished as the No. 2 seed in the league tournament, then turn around for a 4-game road swing with their conference opener mixed in. The road trip starts with a Sep. 12 match at Oral Roberts before the Dogs get tropical in Miami for a date with 2025 American Conference runner-up FIU on Sep. 19.
Drake's road stretch winds to a close with their Valley debut at Evansville on Sep. 25 and another non-league tussle at Saint Louis on Sep. 29.
Spooky season ushers in three more MVC contests as Belmont visits DSM on Oct. 3, the Bulldogs travel to Bowling Green on Oct. 10, and Western Michigan returns to Mediacom Stadium for a rematch of the 2025 MVC Tournament semifinals on Oct. 17.
The Bulldogs' 2026 slate ends with their non-conference finale at Omaha on Oct. 20, conference road finale at Bradley on Oct. 24, and regular season finale on Oct. 30 against UIC in Des Moines.
