DES MOINES, Iowa — Drake women's soccer and head coach
Lindsey Horner have unveiled the entire schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Bulldogs will play 18 matches during the regular season along with two exhibitions and nine games from the confines of Mediacom Stadium.
Starting this season, entrance into Drake soccer home matches will now require tickets. Season tickets for the upcoming Drake women's soccer season are now on sale for $50, which includes admission to all regular-season home contests. Supporters looking to follow both Bulldog soccer programs can also purchase a combined men's and women's soccer season ticket package for $80. Exhibition matches will not require a ticket to enter the stadium.
The 2026 slate sees Drake begin with nine non-conference matchups and then switches over to Missouri Valley Conference play in late September with nine matches as well, where the Bulldogs will look to defend their regular season title from last year.
The unofficial start of the season begins on August 5 with a home exhibition match versus North Dakota. A couple of days later, on Aug. 8, the Bulldogs travel to DeKalb, Illinois to face Northern Illinois in another exhibition.
The regular season kicks off with the Bulldogs on a Rocky Mountain road trip. Drake's season opener will be on Aug. 13 against Wyoming followed by a meeting with Colorado College from Colorado Springs on Aug. 16.
The Bulldogs then return to Des Moines for a five-match homestand to close out the month of August and begin September. Drake welcomes Iowa State to open the homestand on Aug. 20 then hosts St. Thomas (8/23), cross town rival Grand View (8/26), SIUE (8/30), and Western Illinois (9/2).
The non-conference slate is completed on the road with a pair of matches against South Dakota (9/6) and Omaha (9/12).
Conference play in 2026 for Drake begins with the Bulldogs traveling to the Hoosier State for a two-match swing against Valparaiso (9/20) and Evansville (9/26).
As the calendar turns to October, the Bulldogs will play five matches beginning with a home contest against the 2025 MVC Tournament Champions UIC on Oct. 4. Following a road date against Indiana State (10/11), Drake returns to Mediacom Stadium and will play host to Murray State (10/15) and Belmont (10/18). The final game in October for the Bulldogs will be on the road at Southern Illinois (10/25).
A week later, Drake plays its home finale versus Illinois State on November 1 and concludes the regular season against in-state rival Northern Iowa from Cedar Falls (11/5).
The MVC Women's Soccer Championship is set to begin on Sunday, November 8, and will end on Sunday, November 15. Sites for those contests will be determined by seeding.
