Prep — Placed eighth in 3200 and 15th in 1600 in 2009 Iowa Class 2A state track meet as senior at Prairie City-Monroe High School...also ninth in 2008 Iowa Class 2A state cross country meet with state runner-up team...eight-time Heart of Iowa All-Conference performer in cross country and track...led team to four straight league team titles in cross country...academic all-state in cross country and track.
