High School: Three-year letterwinner for Ankeny High School ... helped the  Hawks to a 12-8 season as a senior when they won the CIML Eastern Division championship … led the team with 43 points on 14 goals and 15 assists … earned first team all-state accolades as senior … named Ankeny's Best Offensive Player three times … as a junior, received all-state honorable mention after he tallied a team-high 28 points on 11 goals and six assists ... member of Iowa Rush ... participated in the Iowa Olympic Development Program and member  of the ODP state and regional teams.

Personal: Born Nov., 1997 ... son of Eric and Rose Frimpong ... has one brother, Yaw, and two sisters, Vanessa and Irene ... chose Drake because loves the coaches and the academics and its also really close to home.
