2020 Indoor: Was 15th at the MVC Indoor Championship 400m and a member of the 4x400m relay that finished fourth ... set a personal best in the 200m and 400m at the Iowa State Classic ... was 37th at the Frank Sevigne Invitational 400m and ninth in the 4x400m ... was fifth in the Cyclone Open 400m .... was fifth as a member of the 4x400m relay at the Graduate Classic.
2019 Outdoor: Won the 400mH at the Jim Duncan Invitational and was a member of the 4x400m relay team finishing third, and 6th in the 100m ... was 14th and second respectively at the Kansas Relays in the 400mH and DMR ... was 17th and 14th in the 400mH and the DMR respectively at the Drake Relays ... set a personal best in the 400mH at the MVC Championship.
2019 Indoor: Was 12th at the Jimmy Grant Invitational and was a member on the 4x400m relay that finished sixth ... finished tenth and third in the 400m and 4x400m relay respectively ... set a personal best in the 400m at the Black & Gold Premier ... set a personal best in the 200m at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational ...was fourth and seventh in the 4x400m relay and DMR respectively at the MVC Indoor Championships.
Prior to Drake: Was a three-sport athlete earning varsity letters in football, hockey, and track and field … during his senior year he competed in the Drake Relays in the 400-meter hurdles, placing sixth, the DMR placing third, the 4x400 placing fifth, the 4x200, and the 4x100 … following outstanding performances at the Drake Relays went on to the state meet in the 400h placing 4th, the DMR placing 3rd, the 4x400 placing 7th, and the shuttle hurdle relay… was his team captain and MVP his senior year… holds school records in the 400-meters and for the most points scored in a season.
Personal: Intends on majoring in biology… the son of Jennifer and Jim Romagna… has three other siblings… his sister Jade runs cross country and track for the University of Dubuque.
