Prior To Drake - Swanson comes to Drake after spending her first two seasons at Iowa State, where she played in 22 games, including 13 starts for the Cyclones...she recorded 57 saves, while registering three shutouts...a first-team All-Big XII academic selection in 2012. Other - A three-time all-conference performer at Valley High School earning first-team all-state honors in 2010 and 2011...team captured state championships during her freshman and junior campaigns, respectively...in 2010 and 2008...team MVP in 2010 and 2011. Other - Played club on West Des Moines Ice...member of 2007 Iowa State Cup championship squad...played for the Iowa Olympic Development (ODP) team for five years.
