2019 Cross Country: Placed 57th at the Hawkeye Invitational with a time of 16:27.7 … Placed 107th at the Dan Huston Invitational.

Prior to Drake: Was a four-year letterwinner … earned all-conference honorable mention accolades three times in cross country and twice in track … named team captain both her junior and senior years … named team MVP her junior year … received the Coaches Award her senior year … won a conference championship her freshman year … ran the 400 meters in 58.74 her sophomore year, the third-fastest time in school history.

Personal: Daughter of John and Katie Avenson … has three siblings including brother, Simon, who is a part of the men’s rowing team at the University of Minnesota … intends to major in environmental science.
