Prior to Drake: Was a two-sport athlete competing in volleyball and track and field … placed in the top-five in the 100 meters dash her senior year in 2018 … took the 100 and 200 meter state titles her senior year … at the USATF Midwest regional she won the 100 meters and was the runner-up in the 200m dash…. went on to place 10th in the USATF National Junior Olympics in the 200 meters … was an honor roll student all four years and maintained a GPA of 3.96 in high school.
Personal: Intending to major in pharmaceutical sciences… the daughter of Kolby and Jody Kester … her grandmother, Barbara, is a Drake alumni.
