Mission


All Executive Council members will:
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better at time of nomination
Attend all SAAC meetings unless class or travel interferes
Attend meetings prior to each full SAAC meeting
Be responsible for ensuring execution of events
Spend time outside meetings preparing for events
Take initiative for engaging fellow student-athletes

President
Lead SAAC meetings
Guarantee all events are successfully carried out
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Vice President
Lead meetings in absence of President
Ensure communication among Committees
Review attendance to encourage representation from all teams at each meeting
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Secretary
Take minutes during each meeting and submit to advisor in timely manner
Complete a calendar of events by October 1st of all SAAC activities for the year
Work with advisor to compose meeting agendas
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Marketing Director
Work with each committee to ensure proper marketing of events
Ensure marketing of events is done in a timely manner
Use strategies to reach a wide range of individuals
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Community Outreach Chair
Lead and effectively organize Community Outreach Committee
Engage student-athlete body in at least one service event each semester
Comprise action plans for events and ensure approval of advisor
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Social Chair
Work with Marketing Director to ensure notification of events
Organize several events each year to engage student-athlete body
Comprise action plans for events and ensure approval of advisor
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees

Bulldog Pride Chair
Create and Promote pride in Drake athletics
Work with Marketing Director to ensure notification of events
Ensure teams engage in B/S activities
Represent student-athlete body on campus committees
