ALL ONE Vision Statement
To actively dismantle systems within our athletic department that oppress and limit Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+, differently abled, and marginalized persons.
Who We Are?
Drake University encompasses an “All In” approach. This outlook reaches beyond donations and campaigns but extends the necessity for faculty, staff, alumni and students to collaborate, support and celebrate one another. With this in mind, Drake Athletics has established a working group that specifically addresses areas of awareness and improvement across the athletic department. “All One” is a collaborative group of coaches and staff dedicated to making the Drake athletic community a safe, equitable, just, and welcoming environment for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+, differently abled, and all marginalized populations.

Group Goals
1. Create awareness to all prejudice and reduce barriers of racial discrimination and inequality. Identify “blind spot” areas within the department, and find realistic creative solutions to address these.
2. Create empathy, through conversations and education, to student-athletes and members of the athletic department, campus and local community.
3. Educate and advise student-athletes and staff about ways they can efficiently and effectively use their platform to educate, promote awareness, and effect change.
4. Build programmatic opportunities with and for student-athletes and staff to educate, encourage, and address vulnerabilities of those from and within marginalized communities.
