Drake University Athletics

ADA seating is located on the south end zone above sections M, N, and O at Drake Stadium. Additional ADA seating is available at the press box level behind sections P-V.

Fans needing to exchange their tickets for accessible seating, can do so at the Drake Stadium Ticket Office or can call the ticket office at 515-271-3647.

Fans are not permitted to bring alcohol into or out of any Drake Athletic facilities.

Beer sales will stop at the start of the 4th quarter. No alcohol is allowed in the student section located in Section S.  

Backpacks and large purses are prohibited inside Drake Stadium. The following bags are permitted inside of Drake Stadium:

• Bags that are Clear Plastic, Vinyl, OR PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items as well as diaper bags.
• Small Clutch Bags No larger than 5.5"x 8.5"

Bike racks are located near the SW entrance of Drake Stadium.

The Bulldog Shop is located on the west side of the Drake Stadium concourse. During inclement weather, the Bulldog Shop is located on the south side of the concourse.

Concession stands are available throughout the Drake Stadium concourse.  

Fans can access the elevator located near the 50 yard line on the west side of Drake Stadium. 

Drake Athletics reserves the right to eject any patron(s) found violating Drake Stadium policies or participating in behavior that is considered unsportsmanlike, unruly or illegal.

Tickets will be collected without refund, and the patron(s) will be escorted from Drake Stadium by event staff.

It is essential for Drake University to be prepared for any major catastrophe or natural disaster which may arise during an event held in the Drake Stadium. There is a printed Drake Stadium Emergency Plan located in Guest Services on the west side of the concourse. Follow the lead of Drake Athletics Staff should an emergency occur.

Drake University and Drake Athletics are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable event experience for all fans and event participants. The Fan Code of Conduct sets clear expectations and encourages an event environment that is enjoyable for all. We strive to promote good sportsmanship, and that includes appropriate fan behavior.

We ask all fans to adhere to the following Fan Code of Conduct for Drake Athletic events to meet these goals:

• Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome.
• Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or intimidating actions will not be tolerated.
• Fans shall not interfere unduly with anyone else's right and opportunity to enjoy the event.
• Fans may not go onto the court or throw any items onto the playing area or possess prohibited items. Violation may result in immediate ejection and arrest and prosecution
• Fans who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner. Intervention with an intoxicated or underage guest will be handled promptly and safely. Fans appearing intoxicated will be denied entry or subject to ejection.
• Offensive or obscene messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
• Fans shall be courteous to visiting teams and guests.
• Fans shall comply with the directions and instructions of all Drake University staff and gameday personnel regarding operations and emergency response procedures.
• Fans shall be treated professionally and courteously by all Drake University staff and gameday personnel.

During games, contact the nearest Game Operations staff member or text or call our Guest Help Line at (515) 271-DOGS(3647) if another fan is interfering with your enjoyment of the game. Drake Students are considered representatives of the University and are therefore subject to the Code of Student Conduct as well as the Fan Code of Conduct while attending any sporting event.

Fans not adhering to the Fan Code of Conduct provisions may be subject to ejection without refund and may also be subject to arrest and prosecution.

EMS is located on the track at the NE corner during games, but reach out to an events staff personnel member or go to Guest Services for First-Aid assistance.

Fans are permitted to enter through theSW or SE gate off Forest Ave one hour prior to kickoff.

Lost and found is located at Guest Services. Fans can email guestservices@drake.edu for any questions or inquiries regarding lost and found items.

Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member.

Members of the media must display valid credentials to access Drake Stadium and designated media areas. Credentials must be requested in advance through Dave Shindelar (david.shindelar@drake.edu) who will provide additional details regarding pickup. All media should enter through either the NE or the SW entrance of the stadium.

Outside food or beverage is prohibited inside Drake Stadium.

Fans may park in Lots 1, 4, 17 and 18 for Drake Football games. Additional parking information can be found here.

Fans picking up pass lists can do so at the Drake Athletics Ticket Office at the front of the Knapp Center.

There is no will call, only a pass list.

The use of cameras is permitted inside Drake Stadium. Camera bags and equipment not conforming to the clear bag policy guidelines are prohibited (see prohibited items). Game action may not be filmed.

The following items are not permitted inside of Drake Stadium:

• Coolers and Containers
• Backpacks and Large Purses
• Outside Food and Drink
• Alcoholic Beverages, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
• Smoking or Vaping 
• Fireworks
• Sport Equipment 
• Weapons of any kind
• Umbrellas
• Lawn Chairs
• Pets (excluding service animals)
• Artificial Noisemakers

Drake Stadium has a strict no re-entry policy for all ticketed events.

Restrooms are located around the concourse of Drake Stadium.

Drake Ushers and other event staff are located at the gates for entry as well as police officers and public safety. Please reach out to any of them should a problem arise.

Guide dogs, service dogs, and service dogs in training are permitted inside Drake Stadium. Emotional support and all other animals are not permitted inside of Drake Stadium.

Drake University is a smoke and vape-free campus.

All kids 12 and under can register for Spike's Kids Club, presented by Kwik Star. 

For $35, all kids can become a member of Spike's Kids Club for the 2026-2027 athletics year and receive:

We understand there are sometimes when a stroller is necessary and therefore, we would be happy to keep them outside of guest services for you during the event, but do not encourage the use of strollers in the seating sections or around the concourse.

Below is the tailgating policy for events at Drake Stadium. Tailgating is limited to Lot 18 only

• Access to Lot 18 for tailgating is allowed no earlier than 3 hours prior to game time, as space allow
• One Space per car/tailgate
• Tents limited to no larger than 10'x10'
• No blocking: Do not block paths for other vehicles or access to stalls
• Sound equipment: No professional sound systems, DJ booths, or amplified speakers without prior written approval. Small “boom boxes” are allowed but must stay under 70 decibels and be contained within your tailgate area
• Trash cleanup: Remove all trash and dispose of it before leaving
• No kegs, beer balls, or hard alcohol are permitted at any time
• Under 21: No alcohol allowed on university property
• Only cars, pickups, SUVs, and RVs with restrooms are allowed in standard lots
• RVs must not exceed 24 feet in length and 8'6" in width
• No pull-behind trailers or smokers
• Travel lanes must remain clear; tailgating equipment must be moved out of them
• Tailgaters must comply with all university and public safety policies while on site
• Grills/Wood Fires: Liquid Propane and charcoal grills and LP heaters are permitted in parking lots. Please do not place used charcoal, embers, or ash in trash cans, under trees, or leave it in the parking areas: it must all be taken off site with you. Empty canisters/tanks must also be removed. LP grills or heaters are limited to one 20# LP cylinder per device; no spare or additional cylinders will be allowed. All heaters or heated devices must be used according to manufacturer directions, and adequate spacing must be maintained around the heat source(s). Open wood fires or wood fires enclosed in a portable fire pit are not permitted
• Restrictions: Alcohol use may be restricted at the discretion of Drake leadership, Athletics, Drake Public Safety, or local law enforcement
• The right to tailgate may be revoked at any time for non-compliance, safety concerns, or operational needs.

The ticket office is open when gates open and will stay open through the end of halftime. Valid tickets or credentials are required for entry.

All children 2 years of age and older must possess a game ticket. Children under the age of 2 are considered “child in arms” and must sit on the lap of an adult. 

Tickets will be scanned at all gates through the end of the game. Fans can purchase football tickets at godrakebulldogs.com/tickets.

Umbrellas are not permitted inside of Drake Stadium. Rain jackets/coats and ponchos are permitted inside the stadium.

Fans are permitted to bring one factory sealed water bottle into Drake Stadium. Water filling stations are available on the concourse.
