Drake University Athletics

ADA seating is located on the south end zone above sections M, N, and O. There is also additional ADA seating on press box level behind sections P-V.

Fans needing to exchange their tickets for accessible seating, can do so at the Drake Stadium Ticket Office or can call the ticket office at 515-271-3647.

Fans are not permitted to bring alcohol into or out of Drake Stadium.

Backpacks and large purses are prohibited inside Drake Stadium. The following bags are permitted:

• Bags that are Clear Plastic, Vinyl, OR PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items as well as diaper bags.
• Small Clutch Bags No larger than 5.5"x 8.5"

Bike racks are located near the SW entrance of Drake Stadium.

All Drake Relays events are streamed on RunnerSpace ($), opens in new tab. Saturday's session between 2-4 PM is streamed nationally on CBS Sports Network.

The Bulldog Shop has pop-up tents located on the west concourse and on the Drake Plaza.

Concession shops and food tents are available around the Drake Stadium concourse and out on Forest Avenue.

Fans can access the elevator located near the 50 yard line on the west side of Drake Stadium. 

Drake Athletics reserves the right to eject any patron(s) found violating Drake Stadium policies or participating in behavior that is considered unsportsmanlike, unruly or illegal.

Tickets will be collected without refund, and the patron(s) will be escorted from Drake Stadium by event staff.

It is essential for Drake University to be prepared for any major catastrophe or natural disaster which may arise during an event held at Drake Stadium. There is a printed Drake Stadium Emergency Plan located at Guest Services. Please follow the lead of Drake Athletics Staff should an emergency occur.

Drake University and Drake Athletics are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable event experience for all fans and event participants. The Fan Code of Conduct sets clear expectations and encourages an event environment that is enjoyable for all. We strive to promote good sportsmanship, and that includes appropriate fan behavior.

We ask all fans to adhere to the following Fan Code of Conduct for Drake Athletic events to meet these goals:

• Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome.
• Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or intimidating actions will not be tolerated.
• Fans shall not interfere unduly with anyone else's right and opportunity to enjoy the event.
• Fans may not go onto the court or throw any items onto the playing area or possess prohibited items. Violation may result in immediate ejection and arrest and prosecution
• Fans who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner. Intervention with an intoxicated or underage guest will be handled promptly and safely. Fans appearing intoxicated will be denied entry or subject to ejection.
• Offensive or obscene messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
• Fans shall be courteous to visiting teams and guests.
• Fans shall comply with the directions and instructions of all Drake University staff and gameday personnel regarding operations and emergency response procedures.
• Fans shall be treated professionally and courteously by all Drake University staff and gameday personnel.

During games, contact the nearest Game Operations staff member or text or call our Guest Help Line at (515) 271-DOGS(3647) if another fan is interfering with your enjoyment of the game. Following the game, please contact us at guestservices@drake.edu if you would like to report inappropriate fan behavior.

Drake Students are considered representatives of the University and are therefore subject to the Code of Student Conduct as well as the Fan Code of Conduct while attending any sporting event.

Fans not adhering to the Fan Code of Conduct provisions may be subject to ejection without refund and may also be subject to arrest and prosecution.

EMS is located on the track at the NE corner. There is a red and white first-aid booth located on the west concourse.

Fans can enter through the NW, SW, and SE entrances of Drake Stadium. The NE entrance is for volunteers, athletes and coaches only. No fans permitted to enter the NE gate.

The guest services tent is located on the west plaza.

Lost and found is located at Guest Services. Please email guestservices@drake.edu for any questions about lost and found.

Members of the media must display valid credentials to access Drake Stadium and designated media areas. Credentials must be requested in advance through the Media Credential Request Form. Dave Shindelar (david.shindelar@drake.edu) will provide additional details regarding pickup if credential is approved. All media personnel can park in Lot 4 and  should enter through either the NE or the SW entrance of the stadium.

Please proceed up to the pressbox level on the second floor and use the pressbox family restroom.

Outside food or beverage is prohibited inside Drake Stadium.

Fans can park in Lots 1,4 and 18 ($) during the Drake Relays. Additional parking information can be found HERE

Use of cameras is permitted. Camera bags and equipment not conforming to the clear bag policy guidelines are prohibited (see prohibited items) Event action may not be filmed.

The following items are not permitted inside of Drake Stadium:

• Coolers and Containers
• Backpacks and Large Purses
• Outside Food and Drink
• Alcoholic Beverages, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
• Smoking or Vaping 
• Fireworks
• Sport Equipment 
• Weapons of any kind
• Umbrellas
• Lawn Chairs
• Pets (excluding service animals)
• Artificial Noisemakers

Fans are allowed to get their hand stamped and return to Drake Stadium during the Drake Relays.

Restrooms are located around the concourse of the stadium.

Drake Ushers and other event staff are located at the gates for entry as well as police officers and public safety. Please reach out to any of them should a problem arise.

Guide dogs, service dogs, and service dogs in training are permitted inside Drake Stadium. Emotional support and all other animals are prohibited.

Drake University is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited on any campus property.

We understand there are sometimes when a stroller is necessary and therefore, we would be happy to keep them outside of guest services for you during the event, but do not encourage the use of strollers in the seating sections or around the concourse.

The ticket office is open one hour priro to the first event of the day. Valid tickets or credentials are required for entry. 

All children 2 years of age and older must possess a game ticket. Children under the age of 2 are considered “child in arms” and must sit on the lap of an adult. 

Tickets will be scanned at all gates through the end of the session.

Umbrellas are not permitted inside of Drake Stadium. Rain jackets/coats and ponchos are permitted inside the stadium.

Fans are permitted to bring one factory sealed water bottle into Drake Stadium. Water fountains are available around the Drake Stadium concourse.
