ADA seating is located at the top of sections 101, 102, 103, 104, 111, 112, 113,114. 

If anyone needs to change out their tickets for accessible seating, please visit or contact the Drake Athletics Ticket Office at 515-271-3647.

Guests are prohibited from bring alcohol into and out of the Knapp Center.

Beer sales end at start of the 4th quarter (WBB) or 10 minutes remaining (MBB).

Alcohol is prohibited in the student section (Sections 107,108, and 109).

Backpacks and large purses are prohibited inside the Knapp Center. The following bags are permitted:

• Bags that are Clear Plastic, Vinyl, OR PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items as well as diaper bags.
• Small Clutch Bags No larger than 5.5"x 8.5"

Located out front of the Knapp Center as well as in front of the Prairie Meadows gate by Mediacom Stadium.

Fans can listen to all Drake basketball games on FM 102.1 or 1350 AM.  Radio broadcasts are also available on the Varsity Network app., opens in new tab

All Drake Basketball home games are streamed on ESPN+ ($), opens in new tab with the exception of national broadcasted games.

The Bulldog Shop is located inside of Gate 3 for all basketball games.

Concessions are available in the mezzanine area across from Gates 2 and 3 and in the NE corner on the lower and upper levels of the Knapp Center. The Beer Garden is located by Gate 6 and the NE corner of the Knapp Center.

Drake Athletics reserves the right to eject any patron(s) found violating Knapp Center policies or participating in behavior that is considered unsportsmanlike, unruly or illegal.

Tickets will be collected without refund, and the patron(s) will be escorted from the Knapp Center by event staff.

It is essential for Drake University to be prepared for any major catastrophe or natural disaster which may arise during an event held in the Knapp Center. There is a printed Knapp Center Emergency Plan located in Guest Services. Follow the lead of Drake Athletics Staff should an emergency occur.

EMS is located near Gate 5 during games, but reach out to an events staff member or go to Guest Services for first-aid assistance.

Drake University and Drake Athletics are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable event experience for all fans and event participants. The Fan Code of Conduct sets clear expectations and encourages an event environment that is enjoyable for all. We strive to promote good sportsmanship, and that includes appropriate fan behavior.

We ask all fans to adhere to the following Fan Code of Conduct for Drake Athletic events to meet these goals:

• Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome.
• Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or intimidating actions will not be tolerated.
• Fans shall not interfere unduly with anyone else's right and opportunity to enjoy the event.
• Fans may not go onto the court or throw any items onto the playing area or possess prohibited items. Violation may result in immediate ejection and arrest and prosecution
• Fans who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner. Intervention with an intoxicated or underage guest will be handled promptly and safely. Fans appearing intoxicated will be denied entry or subject to ejection.
• Offensive or obscene messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
• Fans shall be courteous to visiting teams and guests.
• Fans shall comply with the directions and instructions of all Drake University staff and gameday personnel regarding operations and emergency response procedures.
• Fans shall be treated professionally and courteously by all Drake University staff and gameday personnel.

During games, contact the nearest Game Operations staff member or text or call our Guest Help Line at (515) 271-DOGS(3647) if another fan is interfering with your enjoyment of the game. Following the game, please contact us at guestservices@drake.edu if you would like to report inappropriate fan behavior.

Drake Students are considered representatives of the University and are therefore subject to the Code of Student Conduct as well as the Fan Code of Conduct while attending any sporting event.

Fans not adhering to the Fan Code of Conduct provisions may be subject to ejection without refund and may also be subject to arrest and prosecution.

Gates open to the public one hour prior to tipoff.

Located at Guest Services on the upper SE side of the Knapp Center. Please email guestservices@drake.edu for any questions about lost and found.

Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. 

Members of the media must display valid credentials to access the Knapp Center and designated media areas. Credentials must be requested in advance through either Jack Bluhm (jack.bluhm@drake.edu) or Dave Shindelar (david.shindelar@drake.edu) who will provide additional details regarding pickup. All media should enter through the Bell Center entrance.

The staff restroom in the Bell Center may be utilized as a nursing room. An event staff member/usher will be available to escort you.

Outside food or beverage is prohibited inside the Knapp Center.

For men's basketball games, fans can park in Lot 1 ($). Pass lists are required to park in Lots 4 and 13 and all media personnel can park in Lot 17. 

For women's basketball games, fans can park in Lot 1 for FREE.  A pass list is required to park in Lot 4 and all media personnel can park in Lot 17.

There is no will call, only a pass list.

Use of cameras is permitted. Camera bags and equipment not conforming to the clear bag policy guidelines are prohibited (see prohibited items) Game action may not be filmed.

The following items are prohibited inside the Knapp Center:

• Coolers and Containers
• Backpacks and Large Purses
• Outside Food and Drink
• Alcoholic Beverages, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
• Smoking or Vaping 
• Fireworks
• Sport Equipment 
• Weapons of any kind
• Umbrellas
• Lawn Chairs
• Pets (excluding service animals)
• Artificial Noisemakers

The Knapp Center has a strict no re-entry policy for all ticketed events.

Restrooms are located upper & lower level of south lobby. Changing tables are located on the upper & lower levels.

Drake Ushers and other event staff are located at the gates for entry as well as police officers and public safety. Please reach out to any of them should a problem arise.

Guide dogs, service dogs, and service dogs in training are permitted inside the Knapp Center. Emotional support and all other animals are prohibited. 

Drake University is a smoke-free campus.

All kids 12 and under can register for Spike's Kids Club, presented by Kwik Star.

We understand there are sometimes when a stroller is necessary and therefore, we would be happy to keep them outside of guest services for you during the event, but do not encourage the use of strollers in the seating sections or around the concourse.

The ticket office is open when gates open and will stay open through the end of halftime. Valid tickets or credentials are required for entry.

All children 2 years of age and older must possess a game ticket. Children under the age of 2 are considered “child in arms” and must sit on the lap of an adult. 

Tickets will be scanned at all gates through the end of the game. Fans can purchase tickets at godrakebulldogs.com/tickets or at the gates.

One factory sealed water bottle is permitted inside the Knapp Center. Water fountains are available both on the upper and lower levels of the Knapp Center.
