2024 Outdoor: Had two top eight finishes and another top 16 result in the 800m run.

2023-24 Indoor: Posted a personal best in the mile (4:24.75) for a sixth place finish at ISU Holiday Invitational)...member of MVC Indoor Track & Field Champion distance medley relay team (9:56.11).

2023 Outdoor: Season best at Dutch Invitational in 800 (1:55.45).

2022 Cross Country: Record an 8K PR of 25:46.6 at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 14.
 
2022 Outdoor: Competed in the 800m four times including a PR of 1:52.45 at the MVC Outdoor Championships.
 
2022 Indoor: Recorded a 1000m PR of 2:32.33 at the Cyclone Open on Jan. 22… Ran a season-best 800m (1:55.12) at the MVC Indoor Championships.
 
2021 Cross Country: Ran a personal best 6K of 20:22.3 at the John Kurtt Invitational on Sept. 4… Turned in an 8K of 26:54.2 at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 15.
 
2021 Outdoor: Notched a season-best 800m time of 1:57.28 at the Wichita State KT Woodman Classic on April 17.
 
2021 Indoor: Ran a PR (4:31.64) in the mile at the 2021 Cyclone Open on Jan. 23.
 
Prior to Drake: Prepped at Lane Tech in Chicago… Most Valuable XC runner at Lane Tech… Earned runner-up in the Chicago City XC Championships his senior year… Helped Lane Tech qualify for the IHSA Outdoor Track & Field Class 3A State Finals in the 4x800 and 4x400 relays…

Personal: Son of Kelly and Jacqueline Burns… Graphic Design major… Eagle Scout… His sister ran track & field at Milwaukee… Hobbies include printmaking, sculpture and drawing.
