Prior to Drake: Three-sport athlete in high school ... as a high school freshman year, she set the school record in the 800 meters … was a four-year all-conference selection in the 4x800-meter relay … was a three-year all-conference honoree in cross country … helped set the school record in the 4x800-meter relay her senior year … was the Athena award winner and VFW female athlete award winner her senior year … twenty-seven awarded letters and two all-conference honors throughout her time in high school ...was a four-year Academic Gold honor roll student.
