Prep – Was a team captain and led the team in tackles with 103 and forced fumbles … a unanimous choice on the all-conference first team and all-area team … was the top ranked 220-pound wrestler in the state and amassed a 36-3 record with 100 takedowns as a senior … was an all-state wrestler … as a junior, led the team to an appearance in the state semifinals and had 70 tackles … was an all-conference wrestler that season and a state qualifier … named academic all-conference in both football and wrestling.

Personal – Intends to major in marketing/advertising … is the son of John and Kim Roth … father played football at Illinois … has four siblings, Bridget, Emily, Shane and Colette … was on the honor roll all four years of high school and an academic all-state honoree in football.
