Biography

2012 – Returned as a veteran force on the offensive line, playing in and starting all 11 games.

2011 — Played in two games before being injured.

2010 — Started 10 games at left tackle, missing only the Montana State game (9/18).

2009 — Redshirted.

Prep — Talented athlete who was selected Class 2A first team all-state by the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association...led Immaculate Conception High as the Illinois Class 2A state champions...also honored as all-area, all-conference and conference lineman of the year...also named all-state, all-area and all-conference in basketball his junior and senior years...three year letterwinner and senior baseball captain...awarded academic all-state and academic all-conference honors...member of National Honor Society.

Personal — Finance major...recipient of Drake Presidential Scholarship...son of Mike and Marcy Purdom...born in March, 1991.
