2013 — Made one tackle in the loss at No. 9 UNI ... had a pass breakup in the loss to Grand View.

2012 — Saw action in nine games and recorded 12 tackles, six of them solo stops … also had 1.5 tackles for loss … had a tackle for loss in four tackles (3 solo) in win at Valparaiso … collected three assisted tackles including 0.5 tackle for loss in win at Campbell … had a pair of stops in the win over Butler.

2011 — Did not see game action.

2010 — Redshirted.

Prep — Two-year starter at linebacker at Cary-Grove High School (Cary, Ill.)…earned first-team all-league honors as senior…helped lead team to Fox Valley Conference titles as junior and senior…also led team in tackles as junior.

Personal — Finance and marketing major…named to 2010 and 2012 Pioneer Football League Fall Academic Honor Roll...son of Jeff and Patti Underwood…brother, Jake, is a Drake football teammate...born in May, 1992 in Illinois.
