Junior (2016-2017): Played in all 31 games with 22 games starts while averaging 26.4 minutes per game… averaged 9.1 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 34.4 percent… registered season and career-highs of 28 points against Wichita State (Feb. 1), eight rebounds at Loyola (Feb. 22), nine assists against Mississippi Valley (Dec. 22) and 37 minutes against Missouri State (Feb. 18)… scored in double figures 13 times… was 9^th in MVC games in assists with a total of 94 assists and average 3.0 per game… was 11^th in MVC games in steals averaging 1.1 steals per game… was 12^th in MVC games in three-pointers made with a total of 54-of-152 (35.5 percent)… scored 18 points on 4-of-8 shooting form the three-point range with three assists against SIU (Jan. 18)… led Drake at Wichita State with 13 points (Jan. 4)… led the team in assists 12 times, seven time sin steals and six times in three-pointers. 

Prior to Drake: As a sophomore at SWIC, he averaged 11.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game to lead the team to a 27-6 record ... SWIC also captured a conference and regional title with McMurray earning all-conference and all-region honors during both seasons ... while at SWIC, McMurray played for 35-year veteran and NJCAA Hall of Fame coach Jay Harrington.

High School: McMurray graduated from Alton High School in Alton, Ill., and was a member of the same AAU program, the SW Illinois Jets, as current Bulldog C.J. Rivers.
