Jake Taylor is in his first season as a Drake men's soccer assistant coach. Taylor played one season in 2017 for the Bulldogs as a graduate transfer after playing three seasons for Marquette. He earned All-MVC Honorable Mention accolades and selected to the MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team and MVC All-Tournament Team. Taylor was second on the team in minutes with 1696 and he scored one goal and tallied two assists. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing and Operations of Supply Chain Management from Marquette. Taylor is enrolled in Drake's Masters of Business Administration program.
