2011 - Garnered playing time in three games and didn’t record a shot. 2010 - Appeared in eight games and made his first career start against No. 18 Indiana...didn't register a shot on the campaign. 2009 - Redshirted.  High School - Helped spark Dowling Catholic High School to four consecutive Central Iowa Metro League (CIML) conference titles...led the team to a state title in 2008 as well as a runner-up finish as a freshman and quarterfinalist honors as both a sophomore and senior...first team all-conference honoree as a senior after hauling in honorable mention laurels as a junior...tabbed as team's most valuable defender in 2009...four-year member of Presidential Honor Roll...four-time academic letterwinner. Other - Played for West Des Moines Menace Soccer Club...member of State Cup championship squads in 2005 and 2007, as a well as a runner-up finish in 2006. Personal - Born April 17, 1991, in Des Moines, Iowa...majoring in business management...son of Jim and Sandy Lyons...Drake Presidential Scholarship recipient.
