Senior Year (2023): Started five times in five appearances...1-3 record... .476 save percentage...10 total saves...2.44 GAA...Recorded a career high eight saves at Wisconsin (8/27)...Logged a shutout vs. Western Illinois (9/11).

Freshman Year (2020-21): Did not see any action. 

High School: Earned honorable mention all-state honors after recording 114 saves and a .870 save percentage as a junior...also named honorable mention all-state as a sophomore...helped Valley reach the state championship match as a freshman...won four state championships on the club level while playing with Sporting Iowa.

Personal: Born Jan. 8, 2002...son of Liang Qi and Shirong Yao...has two siblings, Guowei and Benjamin...plans to major in actuarial science and finance...chose Drake for its prestigious actuarial science and soccer programs.
