Drake University Athletics

Sophomore (2007-08):  Didn’t compete during the fall campaign, but responded in the spring, posting a 37-12 combined singles/doubles mark...finished 30th in the final ITA Central Regional singles rankings...went 23-3 in singles play, including a 21-2 record in dual matches...was 11-7 paired with Ricardo Lau in doubles competition, where the duo was 3-0 in MVC action to claim first team All-MVC honors. 

Freshman (2006-07):  Joined the team to start the 2007 spring semester and quickly established himself in the Drake line-up posting a 26-12 combined singles/doubles mark...earned MVC Freshman of the Year and first team All-MVC accolades after going 15-3 in singles competition, including 5-0 in league matches...teamed with fellow teammate Guilherme Marsiglia to go 10-4 in doubles action en route to collecting All-MVC honors at the No. 3 position. 

High School:  Member of Botswana Davis Cup team...achieved No. 1 singles ranking in Botswana...ranked as high as 166th in world junior rankings. 

Personal:  Born Jan. 21, 1988, in Gaborone, Botswana...majoring in management...son of Mabel Setshogo.
