Prior to Drake: Nationally qualified twice for the NJCAA Cross Country Championships ... was named an NJCAA Academic All American both his freshman and sophomore years at Indian Hills Community College ... qualified for the state championships in the 1,600m and the 4x800m as a senior in high school.
 

Personal: Son of Greg and Lynda Riley ... intends to major in kinesiology.
