2015 Indoor- Finished fifth in the pole vault at the Big Four Duals with a height of 12-9.5. 

2014 Outdoor — In the pole vault, finished 11th at the Musco Invitational and 12th at the Duncan Invitational… 2014 Indoor — Tied for third place in the pole vault reaching a personal best of 13-01.75 at the ISU Holiday Preview.

2013 Outdoor — Set a personal best in the pole vault with a clearance of 10-11.75 which placed him fourth at the Central College Invitational… ran 23.88 in the 200m at the Nebraska Invitational finishing seventh... transferred to Drake and joined the track team as a sophomore.

Prep — Three-year track and football letterwinner for Oswego High... member of 10th place 4x400 relay at the 2010 Illinois Class 2A state meet... track captain as a senior... all-conference in football in 2010.

Personal — Psychology major... named to the 2011-12 and 2012-13 MVC Academic Honor Roll... member of Drake Army ROTC... son of Don and Laura Schimek... brother of Nick and Brian... born in October, 1992 in Illinois.
