2020 Indoor: Set a personal record in the 3000m to score at the MVC Indoor Championships and finished 12th in the Mile ... was 45th at Iowa State Classic Mile ... finished 13th at the Frank Sevigne Invitational 3000m ... placed fourth in the Mile at the Cyclone Open with a new personal best ... was third in the 3000m at the Graduate Classic and was a member of the DMR that finished fouth.

2019 Cross Country: Placed third at the Creighton vs. Drake Dual in the 4k with a personal best time of 14:17.3 … Placed 57th at the MVC Championship … Placed 149th at the NCAA Midwest Regional … MVC Player of the week Sept. 4.

2019 Outdoor: Finished seventh at the Jim Duncan Invitational 1500m ... placed 17th at the John McDonnell Invitational 3000m ... on the DMR that placed 15th at the Drake Relays ... finished 16th at the Nebraska Invitational. 

2019 Indoor: Placed tenth at the Graduate Classic ... 17th at Black & Gold Premier in the mile ... posted 27th place at Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational ... finished 15th and 26th respectively in the 800m and 3000m at the MVC Indoor Cchampionships.


2018 Cross Country: Finished 197th at the NCAA Midwest Regional ... placed 49th at the MVC Championships ... finished 241st at the Bradley Pink Classic ... placed 34th at the Oz Memorial ... placed 28th at the Hawkeye Invitational.

2018 Outdoor: Finished 11th in the preliminary 1500m heats at the MVC Championships...set a personal best time of 4:46.23 in the 1500m at the Husker Invitational and took third...was fourth in the 800m at the Jim Duncan Invitational...placed 14th in the 1500m at the Arkansas Spring Invitational

2018 Indoor: Finished 16th in the mile at the MVC Championships...ran a personal best 5:12.99 in the mile at the SDSU Indoor Classic...took 18th in the 800 meters at the Husker Invitational...was ninth in the mile at the Mark Messersmith Invitational...placed fifth in the mile at the Graduate Classic.

2017 Cross Country: Ran at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 23:25.21...finished 52nd at the MVC Championships with a time of 19:14.5...had a 6k time of 24:08.1 at the Bradley Pink Classic...placed 44th at the Oz Memorial...finished 40th at the Hawkeye Invitational.

Prior to Drake: Was honorable mention all-conference in cross country as a senior and a state championship qualifier in track & field ... was a state qualifier in the 1,600 meters with a personal best of 5:11 ... set the school record in the indoor 1,600 meters ... was first team all-conference in the 1,600 meters during the indoor and outdoor season and all-conference as part of three difference relays ... she was part of the 4x400-meter relay that finished fifth at the state championship ... as a junior, she was first team all-conference in cross country and helped the team to a fifth-place finish at the state championships, the program's highest finish in school history  ... as a sophomore, she was a state qualifier in both cross country and track & field ... and helped set the school record in the 3,200-meter relay that qualified fro the state championship ... was also a state qualifier in cross country as a freshman. 

Personal: Is the daughter of David and Jackie Bretl ... older sister Andrea swam collegiately at Valparaiso and brother Robbie is currently a member of the Valparaiso swim team ... intends to major in business and public administration.
