2017 Outdoor - Placed 10th in the 1,500m at the Central Invitational

2017 Indoor - Placed seventh in the 3,000m with a personal best 12:06.30 at the Dutch Holiday Preview

2016 Cross Country- Finished 51st at the 6k Oz Memorial with a time of 28:37.8... tied for 111th at the Chile Pepper Festival with a 5k time of 19:59.66.

2016 Outdoor — Finished ninth at the Nebraska Invitational in the 800m...placed 14th in the 800m at the Musco Twilight meet...took 25th at the Jim Duncan Invitational...placed 13th at the Ottawa Braves Invitational...won the 4x800 and placed seventh in the 800m at the Grand View Invitational.

2016 Indoor- Took 14th in the 800 at the Mark Messersmith Invite...placed 13th in the 800 with a time of 2:33.34 at the Big Four Invite...took second in the 800 meter at the SDSU Holiday Inviational...finished 17th in the 800 at the Holiday Inn Invitational.

2015 Cross Country- Came in 18th with a time of 23:58 at the Viking Invitational... finsihed 58th at the Oz Memorial with a time of 26:04.8... placed 10th with a time of 17:21 at the Bulldog Classic.

2015 Indoor- Ran a seasons best of 2:32.67 in the 800 meters at the South Dakota State Open to finish fifth. Did not compete the rest of the season due to injury.

2014 Cross Country — Finished 25th at the Viking Invitational... took 66th place at the Oz Memorial and 46th at the Bulldog Classic.  

2014 Outdoor — Placed ninth in the 800m at the Mark Messersmith Invitational... 2014 Indoor — Ran the 600m to place 10th at the Iowa Invite… finished 24^th in the 800m at the Jack Jennett Invitational with a time of 2:35.52… took seventh place in the 1,000-meter race at the ISU Holiday Preview with a time of 3:25.28.

2013 Cross Country — Finished 46th at the Viking Invitational... came in 77th at the Oz Memorial... 38th at the Bulldog Classic 4K.

Prep — Led her team to the Iowa 3A cross country state team championship placing 15th her senior year for Decorah High… was all-conference and all-district in the 4x800-meter relay in both her junior and senior years… team was district and conference champions in track in 2012 and 2013... named academic all-state in cross country and track.

Personal — Elementary education major... named to the 2013-14 MVC Academic Honor Roll... daughter of Rick and Jamey Varney… father, Rick, played football and baseball at Iowa Wesleyan... has two younger brothers, Gabriel and Jackson.
