2025: Named a Freshman All-American by both Stats Perform and FCS Football Central…was one of 25 finalists for Jerry Rice Award, honoring the nation’s top FCS freshman…recognized as an All-Pioneer Football League First Team performer…earned PFL Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week…had one of the best freshman campaigns in Drake football history with action in every game and four starts…ran for 1,034 yards and six touchdowns on 144 carries…had 120 receiving yards on 13 catches…made one tackle…rushed for 100+ yards on three different occasions with a career best 253 yards on 27 totes with a score in home win over Morehead State…scored career high two touchdowns against Valpo…had career high 56 receiving yards vs. Davidson.

Prior to Drake: Earned All-Chicago Catholic League and All-Area honors…named Most Valuable Offensive Player…totaled 1,143 yards on 156 carries for 16 touchdowns…member of Chicago Prep Bowl championship team as a junior and 7A State Finalist squad as a senior…also played lacrosse.

Personal: Born November 2006…son of Leo and Sandra Herman…has a sister, Lexi…intends to study Business and Finance.
