Colin Salig was named the Assistant Director of Athletics Marketing in July 2023.

Salig was previously at James Madison University for the 2022-2023 athletics year where he worked as a Fan Engagement Assistant. He primarily worked with the Women’s Soccer and Baseball programs, enhancing the in-game fan experience and running the marketing campaigns. Salig also assisted with execution of marketing plans for the Football and Basketball programs, executing in-game promotions and assisting with community outreach.

Prior to JMU, he worked with the Lancaster Barnstormers as a GameDay Intern in the Summer of 2021 where he helped implement and execute in-game promotions, emceed the in-game promotions, and assisted with implementation and execution of theme nights and marketing campaigns. Salig oversaw the Harry Potter Night which was one of the highest attended Barnstormers games for the 2021 season.
 
Salig graduated from James Madison University in May 2022, earning his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management. He is originally from Downingtown, PA and currently lives in Des Moines, IA.
