After a stellar four-year playing career at Drake, Nell Boyd enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs.

Boyd finished her career with a 101-52 singles record and a 97-44 doubles mark. Her 97 doubles wins is the most in school history and a combined 198 victories made her the winningest Bulldog in school history. In 2015, she was named MVC Athlete of the Week on March 31 for securing match points against Iowa and Northern Iowa. In her final two seasons, Boyd led Drake to back-to-back runner-up finishes in the MVC. This past year under her leadership the Bulldogs finished the season ranked fifth in the Central Region.

Boyd graduated from Drake in 2015 with a degree in marketing and advertising.
